  • 2007 – SJII founded as part of the Lasallian network of schools.

  • 2010 – Introduction of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme.

  • 2020 – Overseas expeditions resume after COVID-19 travel restrictions.

  • 8 Nov 2024 – Grade 9 student Jenna Chan (2009–2024) dies during an SJII overseas expedition to the Maldives. This was reported by Straits Times, CNA, and The Times UK.
